A few days ago we told you about Xiaomi's waterfall display phone. A device with a simply spectacular design. But it seems the manufacturer wasn't satisfied. Xiaomi has just registered a new patent in The Hague for an industrial design that will surprise you.
Remember the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha ? That futuristic phone with a screen that seemed to wrap around the device except for a thin vertical strip housing the cameras? Well, now the company has found a solution. The result? You'll be impressed.

An all screen phone
As you can see in the image that heads these lines, Xiaomi has taken another step by giving this terminal a surprising appearance. Like the Mi Mix Alpha, the screen completely envelops the phone. Yes, in this case there is no vertical strip to house the camera.
The Beijing-based company has managed to overcome the obstacle that completely disrupted the aesthetics of the Mi Mix Alpha in a very simple way: by opting for a retractable camera that hides in the top. According to sketches that Xiaomi has submitted to the Hague International Design System, a second model will be released with a notch for the camera.

Obviously, we must not throw bells on the fly. The manufacturer presented the Xiaomi Mi 11 yesterday and there was no trace of this enigmatic device. So we can be before a patent that will never see the light. Although it is also true that, after an eternal wait, we have finally started to see the first phones with a folding screen. So, maybe the Asian manufacturer gives the big bell in 2021 presenting the first all-screen phone on the market. His looks would be awesome!
