In a recent development, TENAA leaked several main features of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth. The Chinese approving body listed much of what we will know tomorrow, which is the day we will be receiving this new device.
The design of this smartphone is no longer a secret for several days. The company, through various promotional materials, has revealed it, so it would no longer surprise us on the day of its launch. But the new thing that now comes to us has to do with the screen of this terminal.
Samsung is responsible for the creation of the panel of the Mi 10 Youth
According to the new promotional poster, The screen technology that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth will use is Super AMOLED. Therefore, we expect the panel to produce vibrant colors that are superior to what an IPS LCD screen does. Xiaomi is eager to point out its diamond pixel arrangement because it delivers 'diamond quality'; this is something we are yet to discover. Without a doubt, it will be one of the biggest selling points of the mid-range device.
Xiaomi claims that each unit is factory adjusted for color accuracy and quotes a delta E average of 1.1. The contrast is advertised at 4,300,000: 1, for what it's worth. Also, being a Samsung panel, comes with native HDR10 + support.
GSMArena reports display also features DC dimming to combat flickering which some users may find noticeable on OLED displays with low brightness levels. A 180Hz touch sample rate (but probably a 60Hz refresh rate) rounds out a pretty impressive display spec sheet. TENAA says the screen size is 6.57 inches and it has Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
On the other hand, the chipset in charge of mobile performance is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G. We expect an outstanding user experience for it.
