It is not little what we expect from Xiaomi Mi 10, the star mobile of the Chinese firm that is about to be presented together with the Pro variant this next February 23. Recently we talked about its huge battery and the characteristics of this, but now, to complement all the information that we have collected about it, we have the details of the screen that this device will show off.
According to what the new official Xiaomi Mi 10 posters have, the flagship is equipped with a 6.67-inch screen. This is AMOLED custom made technology and has curved edges that offers a contrast ratio of 5000000: 1. To house the selfie camera, it has a hole in the upper left corner. It also promises a maximum brightness of 1,120 nits and can achieve 4,096 levels of automatic brightness adjustment.
Xiaomi claims that the values JNCD (Just Notable Color Difference) and Delta E of the custom display have reached industry-leading levels. In other words, The Mi 10's display will offer professional-level color accuracy.
The JNCD value <0.55 confirms that the Xiaomi Mi 10 screen is better than the iPhone 11 Pro Max screen, which has a JNCD value <0.9. The Delta E value of the Mi 10's display is 1.11, which is significantly better than other flagship phones. The company claims that each screen is calibrated one by one before leaving the factory.
The screen of the Xiaomi Mi 10 will also support a 90Hz refresh rate along with 180Hz high frame rate sampling. Being HDR10 + compliant, it supports DCI-P3 color gamut and offers a good viewing experience under bright sunlight. It also supports full DC dimming.
Another interesting feature is that the panel of the Mi 10, which was approved by TUV Rheinland, effectively filters out harmful blue rays. While not mentioned, the Mi 10's display will be integrated with an in-display fingerprint scanner. In addition to this, it is likely that all these specifications are what the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro screen will have.
