It seems Xiaomi is putting a lot of effort into the development of the Mi 10 Pro , its next high-performance flagship phone. Expectations are high across the board, but what's currently generating buzz is the fast charging speed that its large-capacity battery is expected to deliver.
According to a new leak from a reliable Chinese source, the aforementioned phone will have a battery that can be fully charged in just 35 minutes. This is said to be possible thanks to the device's compatibility with 66-watt fast charging technology.
The truth is, it seems unlikely that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro will come with support for 66W fast charging , and we're not just being pessimistic, but because the company's 50W charging technology hasn't even been implemented or announced for any phone in its lineup. Therefore, we're willing to bet that we won't see it ready until the second half of next year in another device.

Even so, it's good to have the possibility mentioned by the tipster , although he presents it more as a given. It remains to be seen whether this feature will ultimately be developed and implemented in the Mi 10 Pro, a phone that is already generating a lot of buzz and which we expect to arrive with the new Snapdragon 865 , Qualcomm's octa-core processor that offers a maximum clock speed of 2.84 GHz and comes with the Adreno 650 GPU.
We still don't know anything about the size of the battery we will find in the mobile, but we do not anticipate one that will be of lower capacity than 4,500 mAh. Note that the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G launched just over two months ago has a 4,000 mAh battery which, in turn, supports 40 watt fast charging.
