Xiaomi is already preparing its New version of operating system, HyperOS 3, which will be based on Android 16 and promises a significant leap in terms of performance and user experience. While the latest iteration of the system, HyperOS 2.0, which has not yet reached the entire range of the brand's devices, the company has not wasted any time in working on what will be its next major update.
According to the first information, this version will includeto changes focused on optimization, graphical improvements and deeper integration of artificial intelligence solutions. With a renewed interface adapted to the design of Android 16, Xiaomi will seek to not only offer a more efficient operating system, but also one that perfectly complements its robust ecosystem of products.
Improvements planned in HyperOS 3 based on Android 16
Preliminary details suggest that HyperOS 3 could focus on Application agility and to make the most of the resources available on compatible devices. Among the main novelties would include:
- Improved app opening and closing thanks to accelerated processes and memory optimization.
- New artificial intelligence features integrated into the operating system to enhance the experience in tasks such as photography, virtual assistants and more.
- Aesthetic renovations in the user interface, aligned with the changes introduced by Android 16.
- A redesign of Game Turbo mode, adapting it for tablets and large screen devices.
For now, Xiaomi has not provided a specific release date, but experts estimate that the update will begin to be distributed in Summer 2025, coinciding with the official release of Android 16 by Google.
