How other browsers use cookies
Just 5 days ago Mozilla announced the arrival of Firefox with Total Cookie Protection, a breakthrough in terms of privacy linked to the use of the Strict Mode of this browser that we have for Android.
Really what Total Cookie Protection is responsible for is to "confine" cookies on the same website where they were created, which prevents companies from using those cookies so that they can track the websites we visit.

How does Total Cookie Protection work?

Total Cookie Protection works in such a way that maintains a separate "cookie jar" for each website you visit; which is the cookie container. At any time, any website, or a third party embedded in one, places a cookie on your browser. That cookie is confined to the "cookie jar" assigned to that website., so it cannot be shared with another website.
The only exception for the use of cookies
Total Cookie Protection only makes an exception for the use of cookies and it is when it is related to the login that we have to do to a web with our credentials. When it "recognizes" that your intention is to use a provider, it will give it the necessary permissions to use a "cross-site" cookie, for the same one you are visiting.
So that the experience is more than perfect providing a very high security to the privacy of our data and that we are not lacking in being able to "log in" to websites as we would in normal mode in Firefox for Android.
