Samsung is developing a new mobile platform that will hit the market this year as the Exynos 880. A few days ago this powerful chipset appeared in the Geekbench database on a Vivo model. The rumor mill didn't wait to say it's about the I live Y70s 5G, the possible first mobile that will be using it in the near future.
The Chinese manufacturer, in a recent move, has revealed a new promotional poster for this next smartphone, in which it clearly mentions it, so there is no doubt that its launch date is very close and will be announced soon. This material also takes the opportunity to show a small part of the phone.
The new promotional material suggests that The Vivo Y70s 5G will arrive available in gradient colors of pink and blue. On the front, the mid-range terminal is equipped with a perforated screen. The presence of a side-mounted fingerprint reader is a good indication that it is also endowed with an IPS LCD technology panel. In addition, the rear panel of the device is shown to have a triple camera system with a 48 MP camera along with an LED flash, a 4.500 mAh battery, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM, and the aforementioned SoC.
It is said that the Exynos 880 chipset is a version underclocked of the already known Exynos 980. This means that it is a processor of practically the same specifications, but with lower clock frequency settings in its clusters, so it will logically present a lower speed performance. However, there is nothing official about it yet, so this should be taken with caution until Samsung reveals something concrete.
This rumor is based on the tests that Geekbench previously brought to light, in which a Vivo with the model code V2002A, which is said to be this same mobile, was showcased with the Exynos 880. Similarly, the rumor is confirmed to be true in these posters.
