After getting Root and install the modified Recovery to your LG G3 You should also take into account the following aspects:

How to update LG G3 to Android 7.1.1 (D855 model)

  1. Download the 21C Radio or Modem
  2. Download the latest version of the TWRP from here.
  3. Download the Rom LinageOS from this link, I leave you the one of December 29 since the one of January only lets you install if you have another Android terminal at hand through Google settings.
  4. Download the Google Gapps from this link, remember to download the ARM + Android 7.1 and preferably nano or micro

We copy all these files to the internal, external or Pendrive memory to flash via OTG according to our personal interests and first of all we update the Recovery via Flashify doing before if we want a backup of our current recovery.

The app was not found in the store. 

Once we have updated the TWRP Recovery to version 3.0.2, we turn off the terminal completely and restart it again but this time in Recovery mode to follow these instructions to the letter:

  • Wipe and we Wipe everything except where we have the necessary files for the installation of the Rom. We do this up to five times in a row.
  • We go to the option install y we flash the 21C radio without doing any kind of Wipe
  • We go to the option install y we first select the zip of the Rom LinageOS and then select the zip of the Gapps.
  • We move the bar below to execute the requested action and we wait for the flashing process of the Rom and the Google Gapps to finish, a process that will not last more than about five minutes.
  • We select the option of Wipe Dalvik and Cache we move the bar again.
  • Finally we can select the option of Reboot System to enjoy Android 7.1.1 Nougat on our LG G3 D855.
