If yesterday I taught you how to update LG G2 to Android 7.1.1 Nougat, now it's his older brother's turn so in this new video tutorial I'm going to teach you how to update LG G3 to Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
A tutorial valid only for the international model D855 and where you will find everything you will need to continue enjoying your LG G3, that is, with a greater fluidity of the system and rolling the very latest version of Android to date. I recommend that you take a look at the video that I have left just above these lines, a video that you can access by just clicking here below where it says "Keep reading…"; a video in which I explain step by step the process to follow in addition to teaching you how good Android Nougat looks on my LG G3 model D855.
Requirements to take into account in order to update the Lg G3 to Android 7.1.1 Nougat
The first thing will be to have a LG G3 international model Rooted and with the modified Recovery flashed, if you don't know how to achieve this, which depends a lot on the version of Android you are on right now, below I leave you some links to different posts which I did some time ago where I teach you step by step how to get Root on the LG G3 model D855 according to the version of Android you have installed:

- If you have Android 6.0 Marshmallow click here.
- If you are on an Android Lollipop version you can click on this link.

After getting Root and install the modified Recovery to your LG G3 You should also take into account the following aspects:
- Having the TWRP Recovery updated to the latest version as I show you in the attached video
- Have a backup copy of the EFS folder in case the flies.
- Have a backup, nadroid backup of our entire operating system in case we want to return at any time to the previous state before the Flasheode LinageOS 14.1
- Having USB debugging enabled from Developer Settings.
- Have the battery charged to 100 x 100.
Files needed to update the LG G3 to Android 7.1.1 Nougat
- Download the 21C Radio or Modem
- Download the latest version of the TWRP from here.
- Download the Rom LinageOS from this link, I leave you the one of December 29 since the one of January only lets you install if you have another Android terminal at hand through Google settings.
- Download the Google Gapps from this link, remember to download the ARM + Android 7.1 and preferably nano or micro
We copy all these files to the internal, external or Pendrive memory to flash via OTG according to our personal interests and first of all we update the Recovery via Flashify doing before if we want a backup of our current recovery.
Once we have updated the TWRP Recovery to version 3.0.2, we turn off the terminal completely and restart it again but this time in Recovery mode to follow these instructions to the letter:
Rom LinageOS installation method for LG G3 international
- Wipe and we Wipe everything except where we have the necessary files for the installation of the Rom. We do this up to five times in a row.
- We go to the option install y we flash the 21C radio without doing any kind of Wipe
- We go to the option install y we first select the zip of the Rom LinageOS and then select the zip of the Gapps.
- We move the bar below to execute the requested action and we wait for the flashing process of the Rom and the Google Gapps to finish, a process that will not last more than about five minutes.
- We select the option of Wipe Dalvik and Cache we move the bar again.
- Finally we can select the option of Reboot System to enjoy Android 7.1.1 Nougat on our LG G3 D855.
By following these simple steps you can continue enjoying your LG G3 model D855 with the latest version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat no matter how much they despite those of LG.
