In the next practical tutorial I am going to teach you update Huawei P8 Lite to Android M through Huawei official firmware, manually before you even skip the update via OTA and all this without losing the official warranty of the terminal.
This official update process manually and the files shared here They are only valid for the Huawei P8 Lite ALE21 modelSo, those of you who have another Huawei P8 Lite model like the ALE23, search the net and in specialized forums for the correct way and the necessary files to update that particular model.
Requirements necessary to update the Huawei P8 Lite to Android M
- Having a Huawei P8 Lite model ALE21 unique and exclusively.
- Having the 100 x 100 charged battery of its capacity.
- Have enough storage space in the internal or external memory of the Huawei P8 Lite.
- Download the files required for the upgrade to Android M
Files needed to update the Huawei P8 Lite to Android M

First, it will be necessary to download an incremental update package that will barely weigh one hundred megabytes and that will update our Huawei to Android 5.0.1 in build B188. Once this little update is flashed, we will have to download the full firmware of Android 6.0 Marsmallow, a firmware that weighs 1,09 Gb. Here is a direct link to the download of both files:
- Update.zip Build B188 Huawei P8 Lite
- Official Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware for the Huawei P8 Lite
Keep in mind that both are files named update.zip, so I would advise you to download the implementation update first, copy it to the Huawei P8 Lite that you are going to update and once the first update is finished, download the second zip file later to eliminate the first one because if not It will be downloaded as update.zip (1) and it will not work since the Huawei update application will not detect it as an update package.
Once the first update.zip is downloaded, We will copy it to the internal or external memory of the Huawei P8 Lite into a folder with the name dloadIf the folder already exists we copy it inside it and if it does not exist we will create it from Huawei's own file explorer.
Once this is done we are ready to follow the steps that I indicate in the attached video that I leave just below these lines where I explain the process to update Huawei P8 Lite to android M step by step.
