A couple of days ago we talked about Galaxy S20 Fan Edition specifications, a model that will hit the market for the less affluent pockets who want to enjoy the same design of the Galaxy S20 but at a lower price. The Fan Edition version would be the name that replaces Lite, a name that received both the cheap S10 and Note 1 that hit the market at the beginning of the year.
If we consider that the Lite versions of the two Samsung high-end last year, hit the market earlier this year, it is not unreasonable to think that the S20 Fan Edition, together with the Note 20 Fan Edition (of which we have not yet we don't even know if it will be released) should arrive later this year or early 2021.
Well, everything seems to indicate that it will not be like that and that Samsung has planned launch the economy version of the S20 in the coming weeks, at the latest in a month. This terminal has already received certification from both the Bluetooth SIG and China 3C. In addition, it already has its own support section within the Samsung website in Germany and Brazil.
The model shown on the German website is the SM-781B which corresponds to the 5G model with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, while the list on the Brazilian support website corresponds to the 4G model that will be managed by the Exynos 990 processor and its model number is SM-G780F. As usual, these support pages barely show terminal information while the terminal is not available on the market.
In the specifications of the Galaxy S10 Fan Edition that have been leaked so far, we could read how the fast charging system would be limited to 15W, however, a last leak indicates that will be up to 25W, the same power that we can currently find in various models of the Samsung M range.
