SwiftKey

Despite the fact that we are already very used to it and that we give it the importance it deserves, the truth is that one of the great advantages that smartphones have when communicating in writing is the possibility of being able to choose from multiple keyboards, of very varied designs, different forms of use, and so on. And one of the most popular keyboards for Android devices is SwiftKey, which has just received a very interesting update.

From this moment all users of the SwiftKey keyboard are in luck since with the latest update they receive improvements as interesting as new default themes, new languages and more.

The popular keyboard for Android and iOS devices has received a recent update that gives it not only a new look but also new usability functions.

The update introduces three new default themes: light, dark high contrast. The hashtag predictions are also now available, as well as a hub redesigned and a whole series of new emojis These include a zebra, a dinosaur, a vampire, and even the Zen master in full meditation, among many others. The bad news is that these new emojis can only be used if your device is running Android 8.0 Oreo, so their use will be very limited for now.

SwiftKey update also adds six new languages to the keyboard: Arabic (Levant), Garifuna, Mongolian (traditional), Sassarese, Tigrinya and Zazaki, adding to a list of more than 200 languages that were already available.

As you are already thinking, none of these characteristics stands out precisely for its innovative nature but even so, these are new features that will always be well received by users, which should already be available to all those who use SwiftKey as their usual keyboard.
