After presenting the Motorola's new Moto G8, mid-range smartphone that is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765, we now welcome you to the Realme 6 and 6 Pro, a duo that was announced several days ago and of which we now know all its details of characteristics and technical specifications.
Because we are facing two mobiles of the same line, and one is the standard variant, while the other the Pro option, which is more advanced, of course, there are some differences between the two, but also several similarities, both in the technical section and in the aesthetics. We will detail all this in detail below.
What do the Realme 6 and 6 Pro have to offer?
Realme 6 Pro
Since we are facing the launch of two quite similar smartphones, the fair thing is that, first of all, we compare them as it should be ... As you may have already realized, they present few differences at the hardware level. In fact, it is easy to confuse them with the naked eye. However, with just paying a little attention, it is easy to know which is one and the other, and we owe this to two key points: the perforations on the screen and the colors in which each model is offered.
The Realme 6 comes with a screen that boasts a simple camera hole, while the Realme 6 Pro comes with a pill-shaped hole that makes room for a dual front camera. In addition, the first is offered in dark orange and blue, while the second is available in blue and white; all with bright and reflective designs quite attractive.
The screen of the standard version is IPS LCD technology and measures 6.5 inches. It has a FullHD + resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and produces a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The Realme 6 Pro panel, on the other hand, ups the ante by a diagonal of 6.6 inches, but it doesn't discard the 90Hz refresh rate. Both are supported by fairly narrow bezels that feature a slightly pronounced chin. They are also mounted on 162,1 x 74,8 x 8,9mm and 163,8 x 75,8 x 8,9mm bodies, respectively, which, in turn, weigh 191 and 202 grams.
The holes in the screen of both mobiles are to house a 16 MP front shooter -in the case of the Realme 6- and a 16 MP + 8 MP dual camera (in the case of the Pro variant). The front cameras on both phones support auto HDR, AI Beauty, portrait mode, time-lapse, 120fps slow motion video recording, and Portrait Nightscape (to come through the subsequent OTA update).

The rear photo module of the former consists of a 64 MP main sensor (f / 1.86) and size of 1 / 1,7 inches with 6P lens, an 8 MP (f / 2.3) wide angle with 119 ° field of view, a 2 MP (f / 2.4) B / W (monochrome) camera and a 2 MP macro shooter (f / 2.4). The Realme 6 Pro camera is made up of the same sensors, except for the monochrome lens, which is replaced by a 12 MP telephoto lens with support for 2x optical zoom and up to 20x hybrid zoom.
The rear camera of the Realme 6 Pro comes with Night Scape 3.0, which offers exciting functions in tripod mode with super long exposure for night shots, ultra night landscape mode in extremely dark environments and expert mode for capturing RAW photos. The rear cameras of Realme 6 Pro also support dual UIS video stabilization.
At the power level, the Realme 6 Pro is equipped with all the strength that Mediatek's Helio G90T has to give. The 6 Pro, for its part, opts for Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G, a chipset that was launched in January along with the SD662 and SD460. Both the one and the other come in three options of RAM and ROM: 6 + 64 GB, 6 + 128 GB and 8/128 GB. They also have a 4,300 mAh capacity battery that is charged through a USB-C port and has support for 30 W fast charging technology; This battery can further extend its autonomy thanks to the fact that the screens of the phones can automatically switch between refresh rates of 60 Hz and 90 Hz, something that is quite useful to give them a longer use time.
The fingerprint reader is positioned on the right sides of both smartphones. Also, they come pre-loaded with Android (version not specified) under Realme UI. Only the Realme 6 Pro has supralinear speakers and dual GPS. This same medium-high performance device, by the way, is the second phone in the world, after the Realme X50 Pro, which comes with the NavIC navigation system from India.
