Realme 11 Pro+ 5G, in-depth analysis

Realme 5G Pro+

We are back with a device from Realme, one of the mobile phone companies that has grown the most in Europe in the last year, largely thanks to its aggressive pricing policies and the democratization of devices with great power and performance.

His latest release is the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G and today we want to analyze it in depth to tell you what its main features are and if it is really worth it. Find out with us, don't miss out on its performance and only then will you know if it's really worth getting this device or not.

Materials and design

In the aesthetic and constructive sense, Realme has come a long way. We are facing a device with a metal frame, supported by a curved panel and a fairly ergonomic back. The same thing happens with the back cover, which, without being glass, is quite friendly with fingerprints, which seemed to me to be a very positive point to assess, I'm honest.

Despite the asymmetries that we are used to seeing in this type of device, the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G seems well worked in this aspect, leaving the lower part for the USB-C port and the microphone, along with the slot for the microSIM and microSD card. A symmetry that is largely maintained in the holes and sensors at the top.

Realme 5G Pro+

  • Dimensions 73,9 x 161,6 x 8,2 millimeters
  • Weight: 189 grams
  • Resistance waterproof: IPX4
  • Colors: Black, gold and green.

The right side is left for all the buttons, with a good run and great consistency. Meanwhile, the fingerprint sensor will be integrated into the screen. In the back we have the large sensor, although we have doubts about the need for such a protrusion.

In this context, the Realme 11 Pro+ is very well worked, shading other higher-cost devices, And let's not forget that they have the detail of including the charger in the package, little joke today.

Hardware

Realme has once again bet on MediaTek, this time with the Dimensity 7050, one of the brand's most powerful processors, it offers an eight-core CPU and 6nm technology with a maximum frequency of 2,6 GHz and 64-bit architecture, how could it be otherwise.

Realme 5G Pro+

  • Battery 5.000 mAh
  • Touch Engine 2.0

All this accompanied by 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, that will allow us to get out of trouble, without too much fanfare. Lately the cut comes in this aspect, although we have not found any problem to run most applications and video games.

Although there are more variants, the model analyzed It has 512GB of UFS 3.1 memory, a storage technology that promises us good write and read rates, as a general rule.

We do not forget about its other 12GB of dynamic RAM, as they now call digital RAM.

Connectivity

In the connectivity section we have NFC 360º to make payments with compatible cards, as well as WiFi 6 accompanied by Bluetooth 5.3 LE low consumption, capable of transmitting advanced A2DP audio distribution for several devices at the same time.

Realme 5G Pro+

The USB-C port supports external storage, Although Realme lovers are going to miss the 3,5-millimeter Jack port, in the end everything goes out of style, even the plugs.

Multimedia

Regarding the panel, we have 6,7-inch AMOLED type, that offers a FullHD + resolution more than enough. The panel is well adjusted in terms of colorimetry, and we have a refresh rate of 120Hz that will delight the most demanding.

Realme 5G Pro+

A relatively negative point is that even though its maximum peak brightness is 900 nits, normally we will work with 500 nits. However, we have HDR10 + capabilities, how could it be otherwise in a 10-bit AMOLED panel such as the one mounted by this Realme 11 Pro+ 5G.

Realme 5G Pro+

  • Useful area of 90%
  • Aspect 20: 9
  • Button type notch
  • Double microphone with noise cancellation

As for the sound, we have a stereo compatible with technology Dolby Atmos very well achieved, that does not suffer at high volumes, and that close this circle of good multimedia experience offered by the device, Honestly, perhaps we are facing one of its most attractive points.

Camera

This is where Realme wanted to throw in the rest, we found several sensors, and we are going to talk about each of them separately:

  • Standard: 3MP Samsung ISOCELL HP200, with f/1,69 aperture and a total size of 1/1,56″, making a 4×4 PIxel-Binning. This has optical image stabilization.
  • Wide Angle: Sony IMX255 CMOS, 8MP, with f/2,2 aperture and a size of 1/2,8″.
  • Macro lens: GalaxyCore GC02M1 CMOS, 2MP, with f/2,3 aperture and a size of 1/5″.
  • Selfie: Sony IMX615 CMOS, 32 MPX, with f/2,45 aperture.

Thanks to all this "cast", in which only the main 200MP sensor really stands out, We have 4K video recording, Slow-Mo video up to 960FPS, Night Mode and remarkable stabilization provided that, as we have said, we work with the main sensor. The rest of the sensors suffer a lot in the recording, it goes without saying if we are talking about shots with low light.

The selfie camera is more than enough and more than enough for a good capture, capable of working with adverse contrast conditions, although it suffers from the well-known beauty mode so typical of Asian devices.

Editor's opinion

We stand before a device of 519 euros, which you can buy on sale for €469 until June 30. A terminal that runs Android 14 under Realme UI 4.0, a customization layer that welcomes us with bloatware (TikTok, Miravia...), something that seems unthinkable to me if we want to compete with the big boys.

We have a camera that meets expectations in its main sensor, accompanied by two other sensors that will get us out of trouble whenever we demand too much of them.

It is in multimedia content and overall performance where the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G shines, accompanied by its 100W Super VOOC charger, one of the best fast charges on the market.

Now it's up to you to decide whether or not to bet on the new Realme 11 Pro+ 5G, we have told you about our experience and we have brought you all the possible content.
