Cyberlink is best known for creating the popular PowerDVD software for creating DVDs on Windows. A few years ago, the company even released an app with the same name for Android.
The same company has created an image editor called PhotoDirector, which is already available today in its Android version on the Play Store, but with the exception that it has been designed especially for tablets.
We have a new image editor that brings the basic functions in this type of application such as the white balance corrector to improve the accuracy when displaying colors, tools to adjust the brightness, exposure and contrast, and the possibility of modifying the saturation of the photograph to adjust it as we wish to show it in all its splendor.
PhotoDirector is exclusive for Android tablets
One of the best features of this new image editor for tablets, PhotoDirector, is the ability to remove objects from photos. This feature has clearly been well-received by users. PhotoDirector also offers the option to add HDR effects and other formatting options such as Vignette and Lomo, among 70 different combinations available.
The app itself is free, providing some important features that you'll quickly appreciate once you install it. Being free, it has two drawbacks: a limit on the number of objects you can remove and in-app advertising . For €3,63, you can remove the advertising and the object limit, and also save images at a higher resolution than 2560 x 1920.
If you were looking for an image editor other than the popular Instagram, Snapseed, or Pixlr Express, PhotoDirector is a great option to consider, but remember, you'll need a tablet to use it.
