The new series of OPPO Reno13 smartphones has been officially presented at an event held in Milan. The Chinese firm has revealed three main models: Reno13 Pro 5G, Reno13 5G and Reno13 FS, which come with improvements in design, photography and autonomy, as well as advanced features powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
With this new generation, OPPO reinforces its commitment to AI, developing tools that optimize the photographic captures and user experience. In addition, it highlights the certification IP69, which guarantees resistance to water, dust and extreme temperatures, even allowing the use of the smartphone in the rain or with gloves.
Design and display
The new models maintain the elegant design characteristic of the Reno series, with glass finishes and aluminum frames. OPPO has introduced a design called Butterfly Shadow on Pro and standard models, which reflects light attractively and provides a premium look.
As for the screen, the Reno13 pro has a panel 3 inch 6,83D AMOLED with a resolution of 1272 x 2800 pixels and a maximum brightness of 1.600 nits. Meanwhile, the Reno13 5G has an AMOLED panel of 6,59 inches with a resolution of 1256 x 2760 pixels and the same refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Performance and battery
In the hardware section, the Reno13 series incorporates the processor MediaTek Dimensity 8350, which promises a good balance between power and energy efficiency. Depending on the model, versions with 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage, ensuring smooth performance.
Autonomy is another of the strong points, with batteries that range between 5.600mAh and 5.800mAh, depending on the model, and fast charging compatibility 80W SUPERVOOC, capable of charging 50% of the device in approximately 20 minutes.
Cameras with artificial intelligence
The photography section remains one of the pillars of the Reno series, and in this generation OPPO has improved its camera module with more advanced sensors and optimized AI processes. Reno13 pro equips a main sensor Sony IMX890 50 MP with optical stabilization, accompanied by a telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
AI-powered features have been enhanced with tools such as:
- AI Eraser 2.0: Remove unwanted objects or people from photos.
- AI Clarity Enhancer: Improves the sharpness of old or blurry images.
- AI Reflection Remover: Reduces reflections on glass surfaces for cleaner images.

Underwater mode and extreme resistance
One of the most striking features of this series is its underwater photography mode, which takes advantage of the certification IP69 to allow underwater captures without compromising the functionality of the device.
This mode locks the touch screen to prevent accidental presses when the phone is submerged. In addition, a technology microvibrations helps expel water after use underwater.
