The OnePlus 3, launched today, is a phone that costs €399 and that in exchange offers you a 5,5″ AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 820 chip, 64GB of internal memory, 6GB of RAM and a 16MP camera among many other details. This time OnePlus has put the terminal up for sale so that everyone can buy it, so avoid those invitations that closed the cravings a bit to many people.
One of the curiosities that this terminal presents is the inclusion of fast charging, which OnePlus has called Dash Charge. In any case, the company has made it well said that Dash Charge depends on special hardware on the same adapter. Which means that you will have to use the included hardware in order to get that fast charge, otherwise you won't be able to.
According to OnePlus, this capacity is a Oppo's VOOC implementation and that they are the first to be able to take the license outside of a market like Asia. It's not much of a surprise when we learn that Pete Lau is from Oppo and they have some special deals. The same is true of Oppo's VOOC devices, except those that use micro USB. The main reason is that this technology uses power control and cooling hardware in the same adapter instead of the phone, hence this special hardware.
The problem for this phone is that anyone who wants another adapter and cable will have to buy it from OnePlus itself, which will lead to more of a frustration down the road, at least to use fast charging. Because otherwise you will have to opt for the normal charge, a situation that no one who spends that money would like, even if it is only € 399 and is far from the more than € 600 that the rest of the high-end cost.
