After having presented the one that until now was for me Best Rom for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, the Rom NoNaMe, I decided to try a new Rom of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, port of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 that today I am going to show you how to install in the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus model G928F.
At the risk of turning me green and after more than a week of intensive use of the Rom, this time I can tell you that, always according to my personal impressions, this is if it is the best Rom for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus that I have never tried on my own Android terminal. That is why I have decided to share it with all of you through this practical video tutorial where in addition to showing you what the Rom looks like on my Samsung Galaxy s6 Edge Plus, I also show you the method of installing and flashing the Rom.
To begin, tell them that the Rom is taken from the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 thread XDA Developers forum. A rom that comes without its own Kernel so we will be able to put the UX compatible Kernel that we want or the Kernel that I advise you here, a Kernel that is for me the one that has given me the best results on a day-to-day basis with the intensive use of this Rom.
The Rom is called Minotaurus V10, and although I still carry the V9 which is the one I showed you in the video at the beginning of this post, We can download it from this same link.
Remember that the Rom comes without its own kernel, so before deciding to flash it, you must have a kernel compatible with your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. I recommend the Kernel Xtreme UX which is what I wear and it has given me spectacular results. A kernel that you can download from this same link.
Requirements to be able to install the Rom Minotaurus V10 in the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus
- Have the terminal Rooted and with modified TWRP Recovery especially recommended the one from NoNaMe which you can download from this same link.
- Having a nadroid backup of our entire system in case we want to return to the previous state before flashing the Rom.
- EFS folder backup.
- Backup all your applications and data since we are going to erase all the content of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
- USB debugging enabled from Android settings.
- OEM unlocker activated from Developer Settings.
- Battery charged 100 x 100.

Once you have downloaded the Rom zip, the Kernel zip and updated the Recovery to its latest available version, the Recovery even if you have downloaded it in .tar format for flashing through Odin, just by unzipping the .tar file, you will have access to the Recovery .img file which you can flash directly from Flashify. We copy the two files, the Rom and the Kernel, to the internal memory of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus or as in my case to perform a completely clean installation, we copy them to a Pendrive or external disk to flash via USB OTG.
Now we will only have that enter Recovery mode by turning off the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus completely and turning it on while holding down and without releasing the volume button up plus Home plus power, and follow the steps that I detail below:
- We go to the option Wipe and we do a Wipe or cleaning of everything by selecting the option Advanced Wipe & AFTER marking all the options except the medium where we have copied the Rom and kernel files.
- We return to the main Recovery screen and select option Install, we look for the kernel and flash it.
- We go back to the option install, we select the zip of the Rom and move the bar to install and flash it. The Aroma installer will open where we will select the applications and options that we want to install on our Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. At the end of the choice, the flashing and installation of the Rom will begin, a process can take between five or ten minutes.
- Finally we select the option of reboot system and we wait for the terminal to restart completely, a first restart that can take up to 15 minutes.
- Once restarted, we configure our Wifi network, email accounts and others until we reach the Home or Launcher screen and we let it rest for about ten minutes without touching anything at all.
- After this time we do a terminal restart and we have it ready to be used normally.
