HMD Global has released the Nokia 5.3, your new mid-range smartphone that comes at a fairly competitive value for money.
The device arrives amidst this tense weather caused by the coronavirus (Covid-19) globally. Although many companies have postponed the launch of new terminals, HMD Global does not seem to follow this trend, and that is why we welcome this mid-range, about which we already know everything.
All about the new Nokia 5.3: features and technical specifications
Nokia 5.3 official
For starters, the smartphone has a Notched IPS LCD technology screen consisting of a diagonal of 6.55 inches. This is supported by light rear and upper frames, but supported by a somewhat pronounced chin, as the rule dictates. The aspect ratio of the panel is 20: 9 and the resolution it produces is HD +; this last point is where it falls short and could cause discontent to more than one user.
The mobile platform that is located under the hood of the mobile phone is the well-known Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, a mid-range chipset that was launched in April of last year along with the Snapdragon 730 and 730G. In addition to this, a RAM and ROM memory of 4 GB and 64 GB is what it has, respectively. All of this is fueled by a 4,000 mAh capacity battery with support for 10 W charging technology, which is also a bit disappointing; minimum 15W fast charge was to be expected.
The rear photo module is very eye-catching. This is circular and contains four camera sensors located in a round frame that encloses the LED flash in the center. In itself, the triggers are the following: main 13 MP (f / 1.8) + 5 MP (wide angle) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth of field effect). For selfies, video calls and more there is an 8 MP front camera.
There is also Bluetooth 4.2, instead of Bluetooth 5.0. The Nokia 5.3 additionally comes with an audio jack, FM radio, and a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side. It also has a rear fingerprint reader and Android 10 under the Android One program.
Price and Availability
A price tag of 189 euros for everyone was the one that the company announced with the launch of the Nokia 5.3. The firm revealed that at the end of April the mobile will be available in all territories.
