Motorola has not only recently introduced new Motorola G13 and G23, but has also announced two phones with more advanced features and technical specifications. These arrive like new Motorola G53 and G73.
Both phones are very similar in several aspects, but they also have notable differences, and we will see them in depth below.
Features and specifications of the new Motorola G53 and G73
Motorola G53
The first thing worth noting about the Motorola G53 and G73 is that they are identical to more not being able, so it is difficult to differentiate them with the naked eye. And it is that both bet on screens with holes for the selfie camera and a rear camera module with two rather large sensors that gives them a lot of personality.
The screen of the Motorola G53 is made of IPS LCD technology and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In addition, it also has HD + resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels. For its part, the Motorola G73 screen, which also has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD with a high refresh rate of 120 Hz, opts for a higher resolution that is FullHD + of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels.
In terms of performance, the G53 comes with the Snapdragon 480+ 5G, a chipset of 8 nanometers and eight cores at 2.2 GHz max. At the same time, the G73 makes use of a more powerful processor, which is none other than the Mediatek Dimensity 930, a piece that has a node size of 6 nanometers and eight cores that work at 2.2 GHz max. Added to this, both come with 8 GB RAM, but the first comes with 128 GB of internal memory and the second with 256 GB. Of course, both phones support ROM expansion through a microSD.
Regarding the cameras, we have few differences to reveal. And it is that, both one and the other, have a double rear camera that has a 50 MP main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture. However, the secondary sensor on this is a 2-megapixel macro on the Motorola G53 and an 8-megapixel one on the G73.
For selfies, the Motorola G53 comes with an 8 MP front lens with f/2.0 aperture, while the Motorola G73 features a 16 MP with f/2.4 aperture.
On the other hand, both have a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh, but fast charging on the Motorola G53 is just 30 W, while on the G73 it goes up to 30 W. However, both charge via a USB Type-C input.
Other features of both mid-range include 5G connectivity, NFC for contactless mobile payments, Bluetooth (version 5.1 on the G53 and 5.3 on the G73), Wi-Fi 5, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS and a 3.5mm headphone jack input. They also come with stereo speakers, Android 13 under My UX, and a fingerprint reader.

Prices and availability in Spain
The Motorola G53 and G73 have been announced for Spain with official prices of 270 and 300 euros, respectively. At the moment, only the Motorola G53 is available for sale and can be purchased through the Motorola Spain official website in blue, black or pink. The Motorola G73, for its part, cannot yet be ordered, but it would soon be available in the country and globally; at least it is known that this will arrive in white and blue.
