When Motorola introduced the Motorola DROID Turbo, a Verizon exclusive device, many of us were delusional that it would finally arrive in Spain. Shortly after, when at an event in Brazil, they presented the Motorola Moto Maxx, the global version of the DROID, the illusions increased.
Unfortunately, the Motorola France team has published a message on their Twitter account stating that the Moto Maxx will not arrive in Europe. A jug of cold water for those of us who expected to see this smartphone in our stores. Although there is still hope. the tweet has been on the profile of Motorola France for a very short time. Someone has deleted it. Although it is true that some websites have been able to echo this news, we still have some possibility.
There is still hope, the Moto Maxx could finally arrive in Europe
Recall that the Moto Maxx integrates a 5.2-inch panel with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, reaching a pixel density of 565ppp. Its processor is made up of an SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 APQ8084 quad-core 2.7 GHz and 32-bit architecture Its graphics processor is an Adreno 420 GPU in addition to having 3 GB of RAM memory.
While it is true that there are 64 GB we will have more than enough, I consider that the SD card slot is an indispensable part of any smartphone. Pity that the Moto Maxx does not have support for micro SD cards.
Its main camera has a 20.7 megapixel lens, but one of the strengths comes with its autonomy, thanks to its 3.900 mAh battery, more than enough to support all the hardware of the device and the fast charging system from Motorola that together with the Motorola Turbo Charger, will give the Moto Maxx 8 hours of autonomy in just 15 minutes of charging.
Finally we cannot forget that the Maxx motorcycle has a some resistance to splashing. The Moto Maxx is now available in Brazil and will arrive in Mexico on November 13. Taking into account that Motorola France has deleted the message indicating that the Moto Maxx would not reach Europe, I would not have too many illusions.
I assume that the manufacturer will not want this device I stole the limelight from the Nexus 6, is the only explanation that I see. But if so, I consider that Motorola is wrong by not launching the Moto Maxx globally, a very interesting device for those users who want a powerful smartphone but without a 5.9-inch screen.
