Xiaomi is currently having an event in China where it is showing all its new features such as that new Redmi Note 3. A new terminal that arrives with that metal body and that fingerprint sensor that puts the Chinese manufacturer fully into what are mobile payments, one of the trends for the coming years and that we would have in 2016 as the first where they will begin to be used in a more normal way to what it is in these moments where it is taking off.
The first Mi Pad was announced in March 2014, so we can already say that it was time to attend an event where its successor would be launched. The Mi Pad 2 has just been announced in China and among its greatest features is its 7,9-inch screen with 2048 x 1536 resolution, an Intel X5-Z8500 quad-core chip and 2GB of RAM. A novelty regarding the chip that is associated with that view in the Redmi Note 3 where it has been passed to MediaTek leaving aside Qualcomm. Xiaomi claims that the processing potential of this Intel SoC resembles that seen in the Snapdragon 808.
Partnering with Intel
The Mi Pad 2 is 6,95mm thick, which means it is a 18 percent finer than the first generation. It weighs 38 grams less than its predecessor at 322 grams. The tablet has dimensions of 200,4 x 132 x 6 mm and as can be seen in the images provided, it has a metal body that is the most characteristic of its design.

The size on the screen is the same as that seen in the first generation Mi Pad, which is 7,9 inches with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 (326 PPI). The Mi Pad 2 works thanks to Intel X5-Z8500 SoC 64-bit quad-core 14nm, and as I have mentioned and I repeat, Xiaomi says that it is equal to the performance of that Qualcomm Snapdragon 808. My Pad 2 has 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and includes two versions in the internal memory, one of 16 GB or another of 64.
A tablet for € 142 or € 191
With regard to the camera, perhaps one of the elements with which we did not get so enthusiastic, since we opted for the smartphone for its versatility and easy handling, Mi Pad 2 has a 8 megapixel camera on the rear and a front of 5 MP. It does not have an LED flash, which does not condition us much to think that we are not interested in its purchase, since its price hides all its power.

An 6.190 mAh battery it sits on the inside to give you all the juice in the form of power and what would be a Type-C port for charging. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 will be available in dark gray and gold.

The price of this tablet changes depending on the version we buy, since we have the 142 with 16 GB of internal memory and the 64 GB one that reaches up to 191 euros. A very interesting tablet that comes with everything that happens with this company called Xiaomi and that is available as one of the best options. If we add to this the RedMi Note 3 that Xiaomi has just presented from China, it can become a great duet to give away this Christmas that is about to fall.
Xiaomi returns to position itself before these such important dates where gifts fall everywhere and access to these devices through various online pages allows gifts that offer the best to those who receive them in those days of Kings and other important dates.
