Install Beats Audio on your Xperia P and Xperia U

Today we bring you from Androidsis a Mod to install Beats Audio on the Xperia P and the Xperia U. With this Mod we can play with the Beats Audio sound equalizer along with the improvements it brings.

The first thing to specify, What is a Mod? Mods are modified versions of the applications and interface that our smartphone brings. As Android is open source, any programming expert can modify it and add improvements.

What improvements does this Mod bring? This Mod brings with it new audio libraries based on Beats Audio brought by HTC smartphones in collaboration with Dr.Dre. It also brings with it an equalizer with which we can play to achieve a perfect sound for our headphones.

Requirements to install it

• Having the Xperia P and the Xperia U rooted and with a recovery
• Beats Audio Mod File

Installation

1. Download the Beats Audio Mod File
2. We put it in the internal memory of the smartphone
3. We enter Recovery
4. We carry out wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache.
5. We are now going to Install Zip from SDcard and look for the file
6. We flash the file
7. We restart and ready we have it.
8. To activate it we go to Settings / Sound / Music Effects and choose Beats Audio

Uninstallation

If we did not like it and we want to remove it, we follow the following steps:

1. From a file explorer in which we have root powers we go to System / App
2. We search for Beats Audio and delete it
3. We restart the smartphone and that's it.
