Last summer we had the BlackBerry DTEK50, another Android smartphone of this Canadian company that revealed at the beginning of the year that it would not put aside its own operating system for mobile devices. The truth is that we only know how to publish news related to Android devices like this one, since it has another terminal ready behind the scenes.
BlackBerry has almost ready the presentation of a new Android smartphone, the apparently called BlackBerry DTEK60, a new terminal that should become the third Android device of this company after Priv and the aforementioned DTEK50. It was just a week ago when we received your specification list.
Now what we have is a low resolution image in which the BlackBerry DTEK6 can be seen from all possible perspectives. Compared to the DTEK50, the DTEK60 carries a more refined design and they have some obvious similarities.
The DTEK60 is characterized by curved corners and is, by its specifications, a high-end smartphone. As we learned in that leak, it will have a 5,5-inch Quad HD screen (1440 x 2560) and inside there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip. Its 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, 21 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera and a 3.000 mAh battery are not bad either.
Another of its virtues is that it would be the first telephone of this company in possess a fingerprint sensor, located at the rear below the space selected for the camera lens. Being a phone that goes to the high end, its price will be according to this, and as far as it is known, it will be launched on October 11 in Canada at a price of $ 530. Another interesting terminal that comes from BlackBerry and that takes us towards a future more associated with Android than its own OS, a bit displaced.
