Have leaked press images the Xperia XZ and the Xperia X Compact, two of the Sony products that we will see at the IFA fair in which we are already collecting some of the most interesting launches such as the Gear S3 from Samsung or the ASUS ZenWatch 3, two smartwatches looking for their space in the difficult wearable market.
Of the Xperia X Compact we have come to see some filtered images, but it is the first time that we are before the official captures of the two devices. Some phones that increase the repertoire of devices of the X series, the one that came to replace the Z and that has been criticized for not focusing on a specific range.
From the images we can know that the two new Sony phones will offer USB Type-C support and in this way they will join the growing list of brands that are betting on this standard. It would be the first time that the Japanese company would use USB Type-C. In several of the photos we can even see what the official covers of these two Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact would be.

We do not know the specifications of these two smartphones, although the Compact is said to have a 4,6 inch like other compact phones from the Japanese manufacturer. Regarding the design, nothing new in sight for what is a language that Sony will continue to use although with some novelties in small details such as that curved side finish to give the phone a more rounded shape.

It does not seem that in this aspect Sony will change much in future phones, since even with the new X series it has continued to develop smartphones that continue the same visual aesthetic. Another thing may be the materials you use on the back, ranging from glass on some Z's to metal.
