The Italians of Blue Sky have prepared the launch of the ImWatch, a wristwatch with Android, which connects with smartphones, allowing calls to be made from the watch, and even receive notifications from the mobile.
The creators of the ImWatch ensure that their watch can connect with all types of mobiles, whether they are Android, iOS, Blackberry, or Windows Phone, and essentially what they want is that the connection with the phone is universal, so that more users can use it.
The operation of the ImWatch reminds us a lot of an iPod Nano, it plays music, allows us to view images, and has some simple calendar applications, but what makes the difference is that it can be synchronized with all types of smartphones via Bluetooth, so that you can receive all kinds of notifications and enjoy messaging services or enter social networks.
The clock that runs on Android 1.6, includes a 1.54-inch touch screen, 4GB of internal memory, and of course, headphone jack so you can listen to all your music. Regarding connectivity, it uses Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR. In addition to this, the ImWatch contains a Freescale IMX233 CPU, which reaches 454MHz, and 64 MB of RAM. In terms of autonomy, this watch can reach 30 hours of continuous use, this with Bluetooth activated, thanks to a small lithium polymer battery, which generates 350 milliamps per hour.
The ImWatch is already available on the Blue Sky website, and will go on sale in stores starting in November, at a cost of 249 euros,
