We have already shown you previously some of the works of iFixit, the website specialized in disassembling smartphones. Now the boys have gotten to work and have completely opened the Nexus 5X and the result has been very positive.
As you may have seen in the video, the guys from iFixit have rated the Nexus 5X with a remarkable, mainly due to the fact that a large part of its components are modular and easily replaceable.
The Nexus 5X is very easy to disassemble
Parts like the fingerprint sensor or camera modules can be replaced quickly and easily, much of it thanks to their standard Philips type screws that make the task much easier by not needing a special screwdriver.
The section that has taken the most points from the Nexus 6X disassembly process is its LCD panel as it is attached to the protective glass and if we break either of the two we will have to change the whole piece increasing costs.
Highlight your battery that, without being officially replaceable, it is quite simple to change it once the phone has been opened. Finally we have the USB C connector, which is soldered to the motherboard. Of course, this type of connector is much more resistant than a conventional USB so the iFixit guys have not bothered too much about this aspect.
