Huawei has launched a new smartphone, which arrives as Y9a and it is presented as a mid-range mobile, being mainly powered by Mediatek's Helio G80 chipset, an eight-core that is capable of working at a maximum refresh rate of 2.0 GH thanks to its two Cortex-A75 performance cores. ; the other six are efficient Cortex-A55s and run at 1.8 GHz.
This device boasts of having an appearance that is very reminiscent of the design of the Mate 30, the flagship mobile of the Chinese brand that was launched in September last year. For this reason, we can easily say that it has an aesthetic worthy of a high-performance terminal.
Features and technical specifications of the new Huawei Y9a
For starters, this smartphone has an IPS LCD technology screen that has a diagonal of 6.63 inches and produces a FullHD + resolution. Here we do not find a refresh rate higher than 60 Hz, unfortunately, but a good thing is that the screen-to-body ratio is 92%, something that is sponsored by the lack of thick bezels and a notch or perforation in the screen.
The manufacturer has decided that, to discard the two mentioned solutions, an emerging system was better for the containment of a front camera, which in this case is 16 MP with aperture f / 2.2.
On the other hand, as for the rear camera, there is a module that consists of a 64 MP main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture. This one is paired with an 8 MP (f / 2.4) wide-angle shooter, 2 MP (f / 2.4) bokeh camera, and 2 MP (f / 2.4) macro lens for close-up shots.
Huawei y9a
The processor chipset that the Huawe Y9a boasts, as we said at the beginning, is the Helio G80 from Mediatek. This mid-range SoC is combined in this smartphone with a 6/8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage space that can be expanded via a Huawei NM card of up to 256 GB. The battery, for its part, has a quite acceptable capacity of 4.300 mAh; This is compatible with the 40 W fast charging technology for some regions, while for others it will only be 22.5 W - soon the company would clarify in which countries they will be available.
Connectivity features include support for 4G networks, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB-C port, and a minijack input. The mobile also comes with the Android 10 operating system under the latest version of EMUI, which is number 10.1, and a side fingerprint reader that is put to order together with the facial recognition system for the biometric unlocking system that the smartphone boasts. In turn, the dimensions of the mobile are 163.5 x 76.5 x 8.95 mm and its weight is 197 grams.
