The new high-end phones from Huawei for this 2020. The company has decided to announce the three smartphones in one go, highlighting the P40 and P40 Pro + models above the P40. The Asian firm thus deploys its entire arsenal with three new terminals that will compete directly with Samsung's Galaxy S20 trio.
Huawei takes the step of updating the P30 line, taking a significant generational leap, even surpassing all the competition in the market by including a total of five sensors in the P40 Pro + model. Huawei P40, technical characteristics
The first member of the family is a really powerful device, but it makes a small leap when compared to the Huawei P30, its younger brother. The company has wanted to at least maintain the base that has worked and has given it power in CPU, RAM memory and 5G connectivity by adding a modem integrated in the Kirin 990 CPU.

The processor chosen for this model is Kirin 990 Octa-core with 5G connectivity, it outperforms the Kirin 980 of the P30 and also provides a maximum speed connection when using the fifth generation connection. It integrates 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, while the P30 stays at 6 GB and provides the same storage.
Already in the cameras section the Huawei P40 shows a total of three rear lenses, the main one is a 50 megapixel (1 / 1,28 ″) f / 1.9 RYYB sensor capable of recording 4K video, the second is a 16 megapixel f / 2.2, 17mm ultra wide angle and the third is a mobile phone. (RYYB) 8 megapixel f / 2.4 (3x zoom) OIS + AIS. The difference is overwhelming when compared to the P30, a model that featured a 40-megapixel main one, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide one and an 8-megapixel third one.
The front camera now comes in a hole in the screen, thus replacing the notch in drop format, adding an important 32 MP sensor IR sensor accompanied by a depth sensor, the one in the P30 is a sensor with the same number of pixels , but inferior in performance.
