How to update your Xiaomi to MIUI 10 Global Beta without the need for a PC
Coming from a version of MIUI 9 Global Stable It is advisable to first download the latest MIUI 9 Global Beta Official ROM for your terminal model from the official Xiaomi forum clicking on this link.
If you have a terminal Xiaomi Mi6 on MIUI9 Global Stable version 9.5.8, You can download the latest MIUI 9 Developer or Beta version from this link, keep in mind that this is the first Rom that we will have to download to update first to MIUI9 Beta and then be able to update directly to MIUI10.
Although this is advisable as I indicate and show you in the attached video or it is indicated to us in the official Xiaomi forums, I have updated my Xiaomi Mi6 to MIUI10 coming directly from the Global Stable 9.5.8 version, without having any kind of problem and directly from the Xiaomi updater without having to use fastboot mode or unlock bootloader or anything like that.
Once we are in the Beta or Developer version, that is when we will have to download the latest Global Beta MIUI10 version for our Xiaomi model clicking on this link and looking for the Rom Recovery for our specific terminal model. In the case of having a Mi6 you must download this ROM, 8.9.13 Developer.
Once the Rom is downloaded and copied to the internal storage memory of our Xiaomi, it will be enough with enter Xiaomi settings, in section Over the phone and click on the section System updates:
Once there we just have to click on the three dots in the upper right, click on the option Select upgrade package to later navigate through the file explorer to the path where we have saved the Rom downloaded in the previous steps and select it by clicking on it and marking the lower option of Select
With this, after verifying the ZIP file, the terminal will be restarted in recovery mode by flashing the new Rom and leaving our terminal factory reset and with the latest version of MIUI10 based on Android 8.0.
This installation process is what first we must use to flash the Rom MIUI9 Beta and then the Rom MIUI10 Beta.
If you want to see everything that MIUI10 Global Beta 8.9.13 offers, I advise you not to miss the first part of the video that I have left at the beginning of the post since I dedicate it to review the main news of MIUI10 in the Xiaomi Mi6.
