So let's get started with the tutorial !!
Requirements necessary to update the LG G3 to Android 7.1.2

- If you have Android 6.0 Marshmallow click here.
- If you are on an Android Lollipop version you can click on this link.
- If you are still on an Android Kit Kat version you must click on this link..
After getting Root and install the modified Recovery to your LG G3 You should also take into account the following aspects:
- Having the TWRP Recovery updated to the latest version as I show you in the attached video using the Flashify application that you can download a little bit below.
- Have a backup copy of the EFS folder in case the flies.
- Have a backup, nadroid backup of our entire operating system in case we want to return at any time to the previous state before the Flasheode LinageOS 14.1
- Having USB debugging enabled from Developer Settings.
- Have the battery charged to 100 x 100.
Files required to update the LG G3 to Android 7.1.2 (International model D855 only)
The first thing we will do is download Flashify and update the modified TWRP Recovery to its latest available version downloading the image file from this link and following the steps that I indicate in the video at the top of this post.
Download Flashify for free from the Google Play Store
Now we will only have to download the files from the Resurrection Remix Rom 7.1.2, The radius 21C and the native Google applications for Android 7.1 in ARM version:
- Download 21C radio from here.
- Download the native Google apps for Android 7.1 from here.
- Download the Rom Resurrection Remix Android 7.1.2 for the LG G3 from this link.
We copy the three compressed files in zip, without decompressing in the internal or external memory of the terminal and we follow the steps that I will detail below.
How to flash the Rom and all the necessary files
We restart in Recovery mode as I show you in the attached video and we follow these steps to the letter:
- We go to the Wipe or clean option and click on advanced cleaning and then select the following options: dalvik, cache, data, system, and in case you have the necessary files for flashing the Rom on an external memory card, let's go If you are installing the Rom from the SDcard, then it is advisable to also mark the Internal Memory option, although I repeat that this only in case you are installing the Rom externally.
- We must do these Wipes three times at least.
- Now we go to the Install option, select the 21C radio or modem and flash it.
- We continue with the Install option and now we install the native Google apps.
- We continue with Install to finish with the selection of the Zip file of the Rom and executing its installation.
- We select the Reboot option but in this case we do not move the bar to execute the action but we just click on the button that appears a little higher.
We wait between five and ten minutes for the Rom to start up for the first time and We will already have our LG G3 updated to Android 7.1.2 unofficially thanks to the Resurrection Remix team.
