In this new screen we will select the option Get Started, which is inside the oval green button.

In this new screen, we will click on the arrow Select Your Device so that there will be a dropdown menu from which we can choose our HTC model.

If our model will not be found in the drop down list, this would mean that the method of htcdev it is not compatible with our terminal at the moment.

Once we have selected our terminal, we will click on the button Begin Unlock Bootloader, then it will appear to us a warning screen which warns us of the consequences of unlocking the bootloader of our HTC.

We will have to mark the two check boxes to accept the notice, and then click on the button that appears below.

In the next page, htcdev, will notify us in a box on the right, of the programs that we must have installed so that the unlocking tool that we are going to download works in a correct way.

The tools are the Android SDK, the Java Runtime Environment and HTC Sync, if you did not have them installed, you would have to install them before continuing with the process of downloading the bootloader unlocking tool.

Once everything is installed, we can continue with the process of downloading the unlock toolTo do this, in the new list that will appear below, we will click on the button download that best suits our previously selected terminal.

Once the model has been selected from the list and clicked on the download button, the file will start to download automatically, we will wait for it to finish and proceed to execute it, granting you permissions if you request them.

Once the corresponding downloaded file has been executed, a window like the following one will appear:

Now we will mark the checkbox and we will click on the button Next.

On the next screen, the program warns us that we have to connect the device via usb to the computer, it also gives us indications so that let's avoid any power outage during the unlocking process, advising us that we should not touch anything during the process, as well as that we should prevent our computer from going to sleep or in Stand By.

Before connecting our device we must check from the settings menu of the same, that we have correctly activated the option of USB debugging that is inside the menu. settings, applications, development.
