How to take a full web screenshot from your mobile without installing anything from Google Chrome

This problem has a solution: scrolling screenshots. This functionality allows you to capture even expandable sections that are beyond the initial view. We show you how to take a complete web screenshot from your mobile using Google Chrome.

On Pixel phones running Android 14, capturing scrolling screenshots is a process that doesn't require downloading third-party apps. To perform this action, you must first Go to Chrome and enter the website of which you want to get a scrolling screenshot.

Already on the web, take a normal screenshot. To do this, simultaneously press the power button and the volume down button on your Pixel phone.

Once you've taken the screenshot, a thumbnail preview will appear along with a button labeled “capture more”. Tap this button to enter the editing interface.

In this interface the complete web page will be displayed, with the initial screenshot highlighted. To include more content in your capture, drag the slider down. As you swipe, the highlighted area will expand, encompassing additional sections of the page.

Save your screenshot complete once you have selected the desired extent of your scrolling capture. To do this, tap the “Save” button. The capture will be available in your gallery.

This trick can be very useful to avoid having to take many screenshots and then join them all into one. It also becomes easier to share a lot of content at once.
