Statuses are not the most popular feature on WhatsApp, but we all have some contacts who make use of them with some frequency. This content disappears after 24 hours of application. Although there may be some occasion when we want to save said content on our Android phone, because we have seen a state that has interested us.
Although the reality is that these states are stored in our phone. We just have to find a way to access them. So that we can have these WhatsApp statuses of other people on the device. The way in which we access them is shown below.
The best of all is that we don't have to install any app additional on our Android phone to have access to these states in it. So it is presented as a very simple function to enter at all times. We just have to know the steps to follow and the location in which to look for them.

The first thing we have to do in this case is see the status on WhatsApp of any of our contacts. Only those states that we have really seen are the ones that will be saved on our phone. So we must enter that state and then we will be able to search for it on the device at all times.
The messaging app saves all multimedia content by default on the phone. This is what allows us to have access to these states after having seen them. So it makes this whole process much easier for us, because we don't have to resort to third-party applications to be able to see those states, the files in this particular case.
Many of you may be wondering that if everything is saved, how is it possible that we have not come across states from WhatsApp on the phone on some occasion. The problem in this case is that these files are hidden, so they are not normally visible on the device. But if we make them visible, we stop having them hidden, we can see them then.
View statuses on the phone
If we have already seen the statuses of a contact in WhatsApp, or several, then we are ready to start looking for them on our Android phone. We'll have to make use of the file folder on the phone. All phones have one, which can be called Files or My Files, depending on each layer of customization in the operating system.
Inside this folder we have to enable hidden files option, make them visible, which we normally find in the settings of it. So we go into the settings and make the hidden files in this folder also visible. Next, using the file explorer on the phone, we enter the device storage. We then have to look for the WhatsApp folder.
In this folder we enter the section called Media, where we already find various folders. One of those that is within it is that of States, which will normally appear in English under the name Statuses. We enter it and we will see that we all the states of photos that we have visualized come out in the messaging app before. If there is any status in the application that we are interested in saving, we must move it to another location on the phone, such as the gallery, because otherwise WhatsApp will delete it. So it is important that we do this this time.
In this way we have been able to save and have access on our Android phone to those states that we have seen in WhatsApp and that we are interested in not losing. It is very important to move them to another location on the device, otherwise they will be deleted in 24 hours. But this trick allows us not to lose any of these states.
