How to manage folders and labels in the new Gmail

Several days ago we taught how recover delete icon, today, in how to handle labels since in this latest version of Gmail it has reminded frustration that is handling folders and tags in the app.

In this latest update it has been decided to put the switch folders button in the action bar, leaving the label icon in the navigation panel menu. The buttons have changed places but the functionality remains the same.

From the email view, clicking on the button in the action bar that looks like an open folder will bring up the interface to change that email from site to a new folder. Those who have created specialized folders (the so-called labels) will see a list of options where that email can be sent.

Choosing any of those folders will move the email directly from your inbox to the new folder, and it will effectively archive it.

The new Gmail

It differs in the simplicity of adding labels to an email, which are managed by clicking on the menu button and another tap on «Change labels». A similar interface will appear, giving a list of available tags with check boxes. Adding labels by selecting the appropriate checkboxes will not remove the email from the inbox, but it will cause labels appear visible in the inbox. A small but subtle and important distinction that will allow you not to lose emails from random folders that you created.

Google keeps trying to make it manage Gmail much better and it is fine-tuning in the way it has to be done. Thinking that it will continue to improve it with new features and functionalities in future updates.
