How to install the Android Market on new Archos Android devices

This morning we commented to you how the last consignment of Archos Android devices were starting to get the Froyo update. These tablets and multimedia devices do not come with pre-installed Google applications as they do not comply with Google's approval standards for it. This only means that they do not integrate the specific hardware approved by Google that makes all their applications work without any problems, but if they are installed they work perfectly.

It is clear that arranging in a Android smartphone or tablet from Google applications like Gmail, Google Maps, Youtube and of course the Android Market, makes this device earn quite a few integers. Through the Android Market we can now install the rest of the Google applications so we will only need to install this application.

Well, although as we say, no Archos terminal has these applications pre-installed, we are going to see how to install them, it is easy and fast.

There are basically two steps to take:

  • Download this file
  • Copy it to the SD, run it and restart the tablet or terminal.

Very difficult is not that it is, no ?. Anyway, below you have a video with the process.
