The war that Epic has started is against Apple, not against Google, since from Android we can install Fortnite on our smartphone directly from the Fortnite website, something that is not possible iOS, making Apple the bad guy for Apple device users.
Install Fortnite on Android
To install Fortnite on our Android device, the first thing we must do is enable installation of apps from unknown sources, since otherwise, our smartphone will not allow the application to be installed.
Once we have activated this option, option available within the Security category, we must visit the following link to the Epic Games website and download the installer.
Once we have downloaded it, we run the Epic Games application and select the game to download. The best we can do is put the mobile to charge and wait a long time until the game is completely downloaded to our device to be able to play without problems.
If you already have the game installed on your device but you have not updated to the latest version available in the Play Store until the moment it has been removed, you will have to go to the Epic website to download the latest version. If it is updated to the latest version, you can continue playing without problems.
The season is about to end
On August 27, the season is scheduled to end. From the website where Epic explains the reason why it has started the war against Apple, the company states that Apple users will be able to continue playing but they will not be able to access the content of the new season, so everything seems to indicate that this is going to take a long time.
the only way to power continue enjoying Fortnite on a smartphone will be through an Android terminal, since it is the only ecosystem that allows the installation of the game from other sources, something impossible within iOS.
