Google Play Games has its own application since yesterday

It comes pre-installed on the new Google tablet with its brand-new Android 4.3. And for everyone else , you can install Google Play Games from the Play Store just like any other app.

Google Play Games is perfect for saving our scores and achievements in games installed on our device, provided they support the service. However, this information was available within each app that was part of Google Play Services, limiting the overall experience.

The download is now available, consolidating all saved content within the app. It's a new way to see how far you've progressed in a game or what records your friends are breaking.

The new application can display the unlocked achievements for each game, or those that the player still has to achieve, or even the leaderboard for each of the levels found in the specific games.

Google Play Games is here for download

You can even launch games directly from the app or go to Google Play to buy more. Users can also see their friends in their network and see which games they like best. Google Play Games is already a social experience, it's just less private now.

The dedicated app displays the information, while the content is handled in the background by Google Play Services. As we mentioned earlier, Google Play Games is now available for download from the Play Store, so you can start participating in the social network for games that Google is gradually integrating into its Android operating system.

Every gamer will be happy to be able to quickly show their achievements to friends and compete against each other to see who finishes first or who gets the highest score. The same goes for Google at the event held in San Francisco, where they unveiled significant new products.
