Last week Google Maps was updated with multiple destinations, a feature for mark different routes until you reach the final destination and thus make things easier for you to drive so you don't have to touch up your smartphone every two by three. A very interesting feature for BlaBlaCar users who, on their long-distance trip, will be able to mark different destinations to drop off and pick up passengers.
Now in version 9.32 of Google Maps, we come to a series of very interesting news such as offline maps «Wi-Fi only», new traffic notifications and an option to clean up the places you have not been. One of those updates that reaches the beta channel and that they are preparing a better final version when it reaches all users.
One of the first novelties is the ability to clean locations They have never been visited and they will allow you to choose the "I've never been here" option. But really the most striking option that has been included in this beta is the "Wi-Fi only" option, which comes to remedy the download of those maps without connection that could occur under Internet data, which represents an expense in the monthly fee that the user may have. This feature will now mean that offline maps will be downloaded and updated under Wi-Fi connection, bypassing the data connection to have that data downloaded.
Finally we finish with the new traffic notifications that will be greeted by users with real-time traffic conditions in their area and details about what to expect, should they find themselves in a traffic jam. This notification can be deactivated if desired.
