Pixel has marked a before and after for Google when starting out on the path of being a smartphone manufacturer itself. For better or for worse, it is a step forward and if yesterday we knew that already has in its ranks the chief engineer who has been working at Amazon for the creation of devices like Kindle Paperwhite or Kindle Voyage, everything is taking more and more shape.
Now it is known that even those in Mountain View are ready to design your own processors as does Apple with its own, Samsung with its Exynos and Huawei with its Kirin. Google wants to be independent in the manufacture of its own smartphones and if it is going to have to deal with the wishes of manufacturers that could be the ones that manufacture them, what better way to go from them and create your own smartphone.
The curious thing about this case that it seems that Google could not create its own phones and I would have to be asking permission from Huawei, Samsung or others who seem to be orphaned without an Android that updates on the same day or does not have that excellent performance when going from those custom layers that they themselves make heavy.

From Bloomberg it is learned that Google's objective is to be more independent in manufacturing from their own terminals. Yes, high-end, it is their horizon and where they are going. That it designs its own chips does not mean that in the next Pixel we will already see a home-made processor, but it will surely take a while to have them present, but that is where they are headed.
Although it hurts many, surely more to those manufacturers than have swelled to earn millions of dollars, Google has determined that it wants to make its own smartphones and wants it to be high-end.
