If you are getting used to using gestures in the new Android Pie beta of the Samsung Galaxy S9, surely that you can have them in Chrome it will make you happy. And it is that, from what can be known by the code added to Chromium Gerrit, the function of navigating forwards and backwards will soon reach the browser par excellence.
One of those functions that we have seen in a multitude of ROMs and apps, but that Apple has been able to give enough popularity for many to demand it on their Android phones. In other words, an easier way to navigate with your web browser so that you can enjoy a more pleasant experience.
Although it is the Galaxy S9, in its beta for Android Pie, where you can now test those gestures that require removing the navigation bar. We simply have to do gestures for the most basic tasks and that we have gotten used to with launchers like Nova or the Pixel itself.
This new Chrome feature has been seen in code added to Chromium Gerrit and that makes it clear in the text what it refers to with a "gesture-nav", or what gesture navigation is. It is precisely the gestures of navigating forwards and backwards.
