As I mentioned yesterday, Facebook 's decision to launch its long-awaited Facebook Home only in the United States didn't seem like a good one, as it left thousands of people eager to download the much-anticipated application stranded without a firm date for its release.
That is why today I bring you the APK how kindly has a user contributed Androidsis called Germix vazandFirst of all, thanks for the contribution and here are the instructions for its correct installation:
Now unofficially available for all devices with Android 4.0 or higher , here are all the details for download and installation.
The first thing to note is that the Facebook Home application can only be tested on one of the compatible devices , which as of today are the following:
- Samsung Galaxy S 3
- Samsung Galaxy Note 2
- HTC One X
- HTC One X+
Later, the inclusion of other terminals is planned for this already short list of terminals compatible with the new Home of the social network.
To install the new Facebook Home interface on our compatible device , we just need to download the following APK (courtesy of Germix Vazand) , and once in the APK download path, click on it and accept the installation.
To install Facebook Home, you will need to have the compatible version of Facebook installed on your device beforehand. If you don't have it installed, the first time you open Facebook Home, it will warn you that it is essential to have it installed and will redirect you to the Android app store for direct download.
If you don't know how to install downloaded applications directly from your device, you can check out the following video tutorial where I explain it step by step.
If you don't have a device compatible with the application and want to try your luck and see if it installs, you can do so without worry, as the application will simply return a screen saying that your device is not compatible and that you will receive a notification when a compatible version is released.
Once more Thanks to all the readers of the blog that with their visits, comments and contributions make great Androidsis and it makes us a great family.
