Little by little we are getting used to seeing smart watches on the street and this is only the beginning since the era of smartwatches has just begun. As usual, Chinese manufacturers seek to be up-to-date in technology and therefore we can find several smart watches that can help us when it comes to entering the era of smartwatches.
Some of these watches are very simple and have similarities in their physical appearance to other smartwatches from world-renowned brands. Other of these watches comply, for the price they have, with the four functionalities that can be requested, for the moment, from this type of product. But nevertheless, not one of these carries an optimized operating system like WatchOS or Android Wear, until Elephone has arrived.
The Chinese brand, which every day is ringing more and more thanks to its new terminals, will have the honor of manufacturing the first smartwatch from a Chinese manufacturer, not so well known worldwide, with Android Wear.
Elephone Ele Watch, the first with Android Wear
If we have Chinese manufacturers releasing Android mobile devices, why not release smartwatches with Android Wear? Well, next year we'll likely start seeing several smartwatch models from different Chinese manufacturers, and the Elephone Ele Watch could be the first of them.
The device has a round case that reminds us of the Moto 360 or the Huawei watch and, judging by the photographs, it looks elegant and with good manufacturing materials. Thus, the first smartwatch with Android Wear from a manufacturer that is not in the first level such as Apple, Motorola, Huawei, Samsung, etc ... will also compete with the physical aspect against other smartwatches on the market.
Regarding its main features, we see that its main screen will be 1,5 inches with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. We don't know its processor, but we do know it will have 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. Among other interesting features, we see that the device will have IP67 certification (it can be submerged in water), will include a heart rate sensor , GPS , and will run on Android Wear, as we mentioned at the beginning of the article.
We don't know anything about its availability or price, but given Elephone's track record with its devices, we could be talking about a very affordable smartwatch, ideal for getting into the world of wearables.
