The Mobile phones today have multiple functions that previously required a separate device. In this way, the next time we change our mobile we can rescue the contact information from the cloud. Easy, fast and very practical so as not to lose any contact when renewing a mobile device.
Clean contacts on Xiaomi
Another function that allows you to eliminate duplicate contacts in Xiaomi is that of "clean contacts". This ensures that when we move the contacts to the cloud, there are no duplicates. To activate this function, the steps are:
- In the menu on the left side of the screen, we select Suggestions.
- A card will appear marking contacts with repeated information.
- Press the Merge button.

In the latter case, we would have to manually reload the different contacts on our mobile. It is a last alternative thinking of recovering a clean agenda and without any type of duplicate data.

Factory format
The last alternative when we cannot accommodate the data in our agenda is return the mobile to its factory state. The formatting process is relatively automatic, since the main mobiles and Xiaomi in particular, have a button that starts the process. To start the process we need to have more than 60% battery on the mobile and follow these steps:
- Access the Settings application.
- Choose About phone and enter the Backup and reset section.
- Click on the Delete all data button.
The system requires confirming the password or access pin before proceeding to delete all the content. Once finished, we will be able to carry out all the app installations again and recover the Android backups.
