The best of the Doogee MIX
In this Doogee MIX What stands out the most is its attractive design with large screen that occupies a ratio of 93% of the front, its metal finishes showing us a compact and high-quality unibody body that really feels very well in the hand, carries very well and fits perfectly in the trouser pocket since it looks like a 5-inch screen terminal instead of the 5,5 ″ with which it has.
Although that is not all that we can highlight or highlight of this Doogee MIX, a device that from now on I can tell you that it is a highly recommended terminal, so much so that right now for those 150 euros that the version that we have analyzed costs of 4 Gb of RAM and 64 Gb of internal storage, It is one of the best that we can find in the current technological market.
Apart from this design and really spectacular finishes, the Doogee MIX has a screen manufactured by Samsung, AMOLED technology screen that we can say is one of the strengths of the terminal even having only an HD resolution, 1280 x 720 p which for me is more than enough in this type of Android device.
A screen with true colors in which the white does not yellow as in some AMOLED panels and in which the blacks are pure black since to show this color, the AMOLED screens turn off the pixels, which in turn means that if we use themes in dark colors, we get more performance from the Doogee MIX battery.
Regarding the performance of the Doogee MIX, with its Helio P25 eight-core processor manufactured by Mediatek and in conjunction with its more than ample 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM, we are without a doubt before a very powerful and fast terminal where there are in which I have not noticed any type of lag in games or applications no matter how hard I have given the terminal.
Another point that I do not want to stop commenting, taking advantage of the fact that I am talking about performance and giving cane to the terminal, is that the same either dissipates heat very well or does not heat up at all, or at least it does not heat up to annoying levels that I have been able to notice in other terminals that I have tried and have been able to use in these days of tremendous heat that we are suffering in Spain.
On the subject of sound we have a normal sound, correct I would say, in which the power is more than enough to not miss any notification or call even if we are in noisy places, this will also help us to enjoy multimedia content such as watching videos or listening to music through its integrated speaker without problems.
Regarding the sound with devices connected via Bluetooth 4.0, Here the Doogge MIX offers us a simply spectacular sound in which the quality is extraordinary and in which no cuts are noticed or appreciated in the connection or in the reproduction of music or audio through any device that we have previously paired to the Doogee MIX.
Another excellent topic where they exist is the 3380 mAh battery topic, A battery that shows that it is manufactured by LG since it gives us some numbers that are really good, being able to reach almost seven hours of active screen, all this depending very much on the brightness used on the screen, the connectivity enabled as well as the themes used as wallpaper.
To me personally the battery has been giving me about six hours of screen living in an area where I have no network coverage and the terminal is constantly looking for available networks, which makes the terminal battery, as is logical and presumably, suffer much more than in areas where network coverage is good.
Finally in this section of good things to tell about the Doogee MIX, I have to tell you that the WIFI or GPS signal are very good, although the telephone antenna is the one that has really amazed me with its power Since in the area where I live where I do not have mobile network coverage, specifically within my home it is impossible to connect to the Yoigo network, with these terminals with CHIP MTK I have noticed that in my house, incredibly, I have coverage of network, even if it is very weak, in three or four very specific places, fortunately one of them is strategically located in the armchair where I watch TV.
Pros
- Sensational finishes
- AMOLED HD display
- 4 Gb of RAM
- Fingerprint reader
- Android 7.0
- 800 Mhz band
- Good battery made in LG <
The worst of Doogee Mix
As there are always bad things inside any Android terminal, this Doogge mix It was not going to be less and these are the main drawbacks that I have found to the terminal:
Regarding the sound in calls, although the sound that comes out of the front speaker is good in terms of quality and noise cancellation, it is too weak as much as outdoors and in places where ambient noise is noticeable, for For example, in commercial areas, bars, cafes or simply walking down the street with the noise of the traffic of our city, it will be almost impossible for us to have a fairly normal conversation since literally we are not going to listen to our interlocutor and we are going to have to resort to activating the integrated hands-free speaker to try to find out what the person with whom we are trying to speak is saying.
Esto hopefully Doogee fixes it with a simple update via OTA since it looks like it is a simple problem of software or internal configuration of the terminal.
Another thing that I have found in this Doogee MIX that I did not quite like, is that when the terminal enters Deep Sleep mode, "Deep sleep"Both the fingerprint reader such as the double tap on the screen to wake up the terminal stop working directly and we will have to resort to the classic option of a lifetime of pressing the Power button to wake up the screen of the Doogee MIX, at which point it will already work with total normality, both the fingerprint reader and the double-touch functionality To wake up.
Finally, what I just did not like about this Doogee MIX is that they have included so much shit directly in the system, and even with a practically pure Android 7.0 except for that Launcher or experiment called Freeme OS, the terminal that is already very fast in performance and fluidity, could be much faster if they had not included options that nobody ends up using.
Functions like that floating ball that is worthless, an equally floating music player or video player that are horrendous and useless, or The worst of all for me is that an application like parallel Space has been incorporated into the settings menu, an app that I personally do not just like anything at all and I think that whoever likes it and needs it will know how to download it from the Google Play Store since it is a totally free application and that they do not have to implement us by force in the operating system. I guess this will be a form of income for Doogee and to get terminals at such a low price!. If so, I can partially understand it.
Cons
- Low volume on calls
- Screen and back that get very dirty
- Fingerprint reader somewhat slow
- Very weak cameras <
