We've talked to you many times about Doogee, a Chinese brand of Android devices that wants to carve out a niche in the international market, just like Xiaomi , Meizu , or OnePlus . Just recently, we gave you the exclusive scoop on a new device the company was preparing, the Doogee Valencia Y100 Pro , which will arrive with Android 5.1, making it one of the first companies worldwide to release a mobile device with the latest version of Android. This time, we're sure to blow your mind with what could be the new Doogee F3.
The thing is, we know very little about this Doogee F3 apart from these first real images that the company itself has sent us. Images where we can see a very attractive and modern design, featuring a curved screen with barely noticeable side bezels, giving the device a design that rivals those of major Android phone manufacturers that charge two or three times as much for devices with very similar technical specifications.
First known technical specifications of the Doogee F3
In the same press release as my friend Rosalia from Doogee has been kind enough to send me, it has also included some of the technical specifications of what will be the new flagship of the company, some confirmed specifications regarding the size of the screen which will consist of a diagonal of 5,0" and a curved screen manufactured by LG.
The chip chosen by Doogee for this F3 is a Mediatek MTK6753 , an octa-core processor whose clock speed has not yet been revealed. This 64-bit processor will work with a Mali T720 GPU and will come with 3GB of RAM , although, given its 64-bit chip support, they may release it with 4GB of RAM. As for the body of this Doogee F3, it will feature a metal frame and an elegant reinforced glass back.
Other speculations, apart from rumors that Doogee might opt ​​for 4GB of RAM , also focus on the possibility that they could include a 2K display.
As for Doogee's integrated or proprietary software, apart from the already known gesture functionalities or the Doogee OS customization layer itself , which I personally don't like at all, we would also get a kind of voice assistant unique in the world which would be able, even in sleep or standby mode, to be able to run any application we have installed on our Android by voice command.
While we wait for new press releases revealing more details about the Doogee F3, I must be frank and say that, a priori and always waiting to be able to test the device once it is launched on the international market, this Doogee F3 seems to me to be a very, very interesting device and worthy of consideration.
