The controller of the Xbox One S and Xbox One X consoles also works, that is why if you have a previous one, it will also work with the same method. Due to the connection, the pads will allow you to enjoy the best experience with it in all kinds of titles available in the Play Store.
How to connect your Xbox Series S or X controller to your Android phone
To connect the Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X controller to your Android phone we only need a terminal with enough power to move video games. In our case we have used the Huawei P40 Pro, a smartphone with the Kirin 990 chip and two controllers, the Xbox One S and the Xbox Series S.
Once they connect with each other, you will be able to use it in the different categories, since we have a fairly wide catalog on Google Play. For this, it is important to follow the following steps:
- The first and essential thing is to activate Bluetooth on your Android device, for this you must go to Settings - Bluetooth, in others the way is different, Settings - Other networks and connections
- Activate Bluetooth until the icon appears at the top, as it is important that it is displayed
Synchronize the controller and connect with your device
Now we need to follow a few steps so that the Android mobile device or tablet recognizes it, since the Bluetooth connection is essential for everything to work perfectly. The Microsoft pad has this option, believe it or not, since it is a button that we do not use regularly.
- Turn on your Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Xbox Series S, or Xbox Series X controller
- Now press the synchronization button that you have just above the power button of the remote, press and hold for a few seconds to connect with your mobile
- Now it should show you the "Xbox Wireless Controller" in Available Devices, click to link it and hit connect and then "Link" to end the connection
- Now it will show you connected and available to work with your smartphone or tablet with any type of game
