Huawei is one of the well-known manufacturers of phones and tablets in the sector, with one of the highest sales shares of its devices worldwide. The company has just confirmed the dates of the update to EMUI 11 and announces the first to receive the important custom cape.
Initially it reaches a total of fourteen mobile phones, although it is planned for later that it will reach another batch still to be confirmed by the company. EMUI 11 was announced during the event held on October 24 and it is now when the deployment comes to the whole world.
Two-phase deployment
The update will be carried out in two phases, the first one will go to consist of four phones, specifically HUAWEI P40, HUAWEI P40 Pro, HUAWEI P40 Pro + and HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro in mid-December. From January to March 2021 the remaining phones, the P40 series in this case benefits from one of the important updates, the same goes for the Mate 30 Pro.
EMUI 11 will arrive via Huawei Over-the-Air (HOTA), users will receive the notification to update the different devices through a message on the screen. It can also be done manually in case you want to update it a little later.
