ASUS, founded in Taipei in 1989, is a multinational hardware and electronics company headquartered in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. Its wide range of products includes desktop computers, laptops, netbooks, mobile phones, networking equipment, monitors, Wi-Fi routers, projectors, motherboards, graphics cards, optical storage, multimedia products, peripherals, wearables, servers, workstations and tablets. In addition to being an original manufacturer (OEM), ASUS is the fifth largest PC seller by units sold as of January 2023.

The ASUS brand has stood out for its technological innovation and its commitment to creating products that improve everyday life. It is known as the number one brand in motherboards and gaming, as well as one of the top three suppliers of consumer laptops. Its name comes from the winged horse Pegasus of Greek mythology; only the last four letters of the name were used to give it a high position in the alphabetical lists.

Of course, its relationship with Android is also palpable thanks to its range of Zenphone and ROG Phone smartphones, its gaming range of mobile phones.
