Let's go with a new ranking of the mobiles with the best performance of the moment. This time we take a look at the most recent AnTuTu top, which corresponds to last June, but which applies to this month of July, which is still about to end.
Now we will see the order of the high-end and mid-range mobiles with the best performance in terms of raw power. It is worth noting that these lists, since there are two, are renewed every month, so they can be changed in August, so they must be taken as monthly references. With nothing more to add, we continue.
These are the most powerful high-end of the moment, according to AnTuTu
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is the leading processor chipset on the table, in terms of processors
The first thing we can notice from the list of the best performing phones of the moment is that there is almost total dominance of Qualcomm, since it covers eight of the ten positions in the ranking, leaving little room for Mediatek to appear on a couple of occasions. However, Mediatek takes second position, which does not leave it in such a bad position, far from it.
In question, the only processor chipset that makes a presence on behalf of Qualcomm is the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, and it is not for less, since it is the most powerful in its catalog right now -except for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, an improved version of it-.
On the part of Mediatek, we have the Dimensity 9000, the surprise of the Taiwanese manufacturer for the high range. This chipset has left many with a good taste in their mouths, more than anything because it has revived the manufacturer's competitiveness in the high range.
Firstly, we have the Red Magic 7 with the already mentioned Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, with more than 1 million points. This device is one of the best performing gaming mobiles of the moment and has features that give it a performance bonus when you need it most, especially when demanding games are running. In question, it comes with dedicated gaming features, as well as a cooling system that helps you maintain performance at all times by reducing and controlling the device's temperature after long gaming days. In addition, it has a RAM of up to 16 GB of capacity and of the LPDDR5 type, the most advanced for mobiles, and it has an internal storage system of up to 512 GB of the UFS 3.1 type, the fastest reading and writing ROM.
Then follows the vivo X80, another device that also exceeds a million points in AnTuTu tests, but that comes with the Dimensity 9000, the direct rival of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 by Mediatek.
The third, fourth and fifth place is occupied by Motorola Pro Edge 30, Xiaomi 12 Pro y Vivo X80 Pro, respectively. Between these mobiles, there are no big differences in performance, so they practically share the same position in the ranking, it is worth noting.
The other phones that complete the top of the most powerful high-end phones in July, according to AnTuTu, are made up of the Little F4 GT, really GT 2 Pro,Redmi K50 Pro, Xiaomi 12 y Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G, from sixth to tenth place. As a curiosity, we must give relevance to the fact that Samsung manages to put one of its devices on the list, since it is very rare for it to do so. However, the credit would go to the Qualcomm chipset, since the aforementioned Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G that AnTuTu has included is the version with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and not with the Exynos 2200.
The best performing mid-range
These are the best performing mid-range today, according to AnTuTu tests
In the list of the fastest mid-range phones in July, AnTuTu has put the iQOO Z5 first, which has Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G chipset, in addition to other quite interesting features and technical specifications that, added to the quality-price ratio of this device, make it one of the best in its range so far in 2022.
The terminal that takes second place in the ranking is the No products found., another mobile that, like the iQOO Z5, comes with the Snapdragon 778G. Then we have the realme Q3s, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite y Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G in third, fourth and fifth place, respectively.
Continuing with the second half of this top, we can find models like el Honor 50 in sixth position. This device also comes with the Snapdragon 778G and is presented as one of the best performing options within the current mid-range, making it perfect for running high-performance games and not failing in the attempt.
In seventh place we have the well-known Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G, one of Samsung's best-selling premium mid-range to date. Then we can see mobiles like the realme 9 Pro + and Redmi Note 11i 5G, both with Mediatek's Dimensity 920 processor chipset.
As a curiosity of this list, Samsung has also made a presence, as well as in the high-end, something that we had not seen in previous months. It seems that the South Korean manufacturer has achieved the formula to improve the performance of its mobiles and make them even more competitive in the performance section, despite the fact that it has barely managed to get into both rankings, because in the first we see how the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G It was in last place, while in the latter the Galaxy A52s 5G took eighth.
On the other hand, another noteworthy fact from this latest list is the fact that Qualcomm indisputably dominates the first eight places, with seven of them obtained thanks to the Snapdragon 778G and one obtained by the Snapdragon 780G, the two best chipsets of the manufacturer of semiconductors for the middle segment. Mediatek, although it does not do badly either, it needs to improve a bit to make it more difficult for Qualcomm in this segment, because the Dimensity 920, despite the fact that it is a chipset that has little to envy others in its range, is not powerful enough as the aforementioned Snapdragon 778G and 780G.
