This will be very useful for all those users who are constantly changing Roms trying cooked Roms or custom Roms, or even for those users who want to clean their Samsung terminal and perform a factory reset, to be able to recover all your settings, data and applications with just a couple of clicks. Here are all the details on how to back up your Samsung, in this case specifically with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, although this tutorial is valid for any terminal model of the great Korean multinational.

What does Smart Switch offer us?
Smart Switch, apart from serving us for the task that I explain in this post, a task that is none other than make a physical backup of your Samsung in the external memory of the terminal, in this case via OTG given the non-compatibility of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus as it does not have external storage support via MicroSD. It will also serve us to migrate all the applications, data and system settings from an Android / iOS / Blackberry terminal to our Samsung or vice versa, in a very, very simple way and without even having to connect the terminal devices with any cable.
How to backup your Samsung using Smart Switch.
Once the application is downloaded from the Google Play Store or the official Samsung application store or better known as Galaxy AppsWe are just going to have to open the application and follow these simple steps. (If your terminal does not have external storage support via Sdcard, you will have to do with a USB OTG cable and insert a PenDrive to perform the steps indicated here).
First we must click on the button MAS from the top right:
Then we will click on the first option that is shown to us, the option "Through External storage":
In the next screen we will see the capacity of the external storage, both the total and available memory, as well as two buttons, one with the name of Backup copy and another with the name Restore.
Logically we will click on the button on the left, the one that says Backup copy and the following screen will be shown where we will have to select applications, data and system settings which we are interested in making the aforementioned backup of your Samsung terminal. In this case, backup the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus:
After selecting the applications, data and system settings that we want to save in the backup, we will only have to click on the Backup button and wait for the backup to finish completely.
Now we will only have that remove external storage or pendrive safely, for this we will go to Settings / Storage and click on the symbol ejector to eject the pendrive without danger of damaging it.
To restore the copy we will go to the beginning of the application, click on MAS, then Through External storage and finally in the option Restore.
